Life Care Center of Sullivan, Missouri, recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The CMS ratings system is designed to assist the public in choosing care for their loved ones. It calculates the ratings based on results of health inspections, staffing and quality measures (including pain management, pressure ulcers, weight loss and falls).
“Our five-star staff is the main reason,” said John Mullen, director of nursing. “We are truly blessed to have such great employees!”
The rating officially posted on the CMS website on Dec 1, 2016.
“What makes Life Care Center of Sullivan such a great building is the longevity and commitment of our associates to the residents and the community,” said Larry Howdeshell, vice president of parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Missouri Region. “Their desire to serve is what makes the difference.”
